The Firm was established by Teh Sek Hock in 1989 as Teh & Co and
was renamed TEH & AZLINA in 1992.
We offer a comprehensive range of legal services to businesses,
corporations and individuals in Malaysia and abroad in areas such as Conveyancing, Banking and Finance (both Conventional and Islamic), General, Civil and Commercial Litigation, Family Law, Probate and Trust.
We offer other general legal advisory services as well and our services

Teh Sek Hock is the founder and managing partner of TEH & AZLINA. Prior to founding the firm, he practiced in a couple of established law firms and worked as a legal advisor for a developer for a number of years.
He has vast experience in corporate legal work including the drafting of joint venture agreements, share sale agreements, shareholders agreements, turnkey contracts, project management contracts, management and technical services agreements.
His areas of practice also include sale and purchase agreements of all types of properties, tenancies, leases and easements.
He was a member of the Steering Committee on Legislative Drafting formed by the Ministry of Housing and Local Government to oversee the major amendments to the Housing Development [Control & Licensing] Act 1966 & Regulations 1989 & 1991 which came into effect on the 1st December 2002. As a result, he was often sought by our developer clients to provide opinions and advice related to housing development matters.
He is also a member of the Disciplinary Committee panels for the Bar Council from August, 2013 and regularly appears on behalf of the Bar Council for petitions for admission as new advocates and solicitors at the High Court of Malaya.
Gladys joined TEH & AZLINA in February, 1997 as a legal assistant and was made a partner of the Firm in March 2001. Her main area of practice is in Conveyancing and Banking and Finance.
Throughout her years in practice, she has had experience in drafting agreements for joint venture agreements, shareholders agreements and legal documents relating to loan restructuring. She has also advised and prepared legal documents relating to pre-listing and post listing of companies onto the Stock Exchange of Malaysia.
She also handles agreements for the sale and purchase of all types of properties for various clients including for property developers and the banking and financing documentations related thereto.
She has also acted for a major property developer in a bulk sale transaction of lands designated as affordable housing. Likewise, she has also acted for another property developer in a sale and purchase transaction of a land planned for mixed development and the building of a hotel.
Farah joined TEH & AZLINA as a chambering pupil and was subsequently retained by the Firm as a legal assistant in March, 2012. She was made a partner of the Firm in August, 2016.
Her areas of practice include banking and civil litigation, handling of family law matters like application for divorce, drafting of Wills and application for grants of Probate and Letters of Administration at the High Court of Malaya.
Farah is also well versed in areas of Conveyancing, Banking and Finance whereby she is involved in advising, preparation and drafting of sale and purchase agreements and all related agreements for property developers as the lead lawyers appointed for their property development projects (including the drafting of Deeds of Mutual Covenants and
Services Agreements).
She also handles the loan and financing documentation for various financial institutions for both conventional loans and Islamic financing.
She has also acted for the Malaysian subsidiary of a major international automation company with its headquarters in Japan for the tenancy of its industrial premises in Negeri Sembilan.
Fong Cheng joined TEH & AZLINA as a legal associate in October, 2014 and before that she worked for a number of years as a legal executive in a property development company.
She was made a partner in TEH & AZLINA in July, 2022. Her main area of practice is in Conveyancing, Banking and Finance.
She handles all kinds of documentation relating to the sale and purchase of properties from property developers and also sub-sale properties. She is involved in advising, preparing and drafting of sale and purchase agreements and all related agreements for property developers as
the lead lawyers appointed for their property development projects.
She has also acted for a major property developer in their bulk sale of vacant residential lands
in Rawang, Selangor.
She has also acted for a group of private owners for the sale of twenty-seven (27) pieces of
"Grant First Grade" lands in Penang.
In addition, she has vast experience in the preparation of loan and financing documentation for various financial institutions for the purchases of retail, commercial and industrial properties.
